Kingston

KINGSTON - Fusion Frames NW Sculpture

Repurposed Antique Frame (wood and gesso) sourced from Portland, Oregon antique store, unified with Reclaimed Central Oregon Pine Tree Branch.

The bright gold frame has been transformed with dark, rich bronze tones, while the pine branch has been carefully toned to harmonize with the altered coloring of the frame. The striking contrast between the cultivated elegance of the frame and the raw, ancient character of the branch creates an unexpected sense of balance and intrigue.

To me, Kingston feels bold, mysterious, and quietly commanding. A presence that carries an air of confidence and intrigue, inviting curiosity while keeping its story just out of reach. Strong and unconventional, Kingston reflects a timeless sense of character — enigmatic, self-assured, and impossible to ignore.
