EISEN - Fusion Frames NW Sculpture

Repurposed Vintage Frame (pine) acquired from an Oregon coast antique merchant unified with Fir Tree Branch reclaimed in 2015 from the dry lakebed of Detroit Lake in Oregon, at water levels that have not been as low since 1969.

The light natural pine frame and selected parts of the branch have been transformed into a bold, rusted iron patina.

The name Eisen, meaning "ironworker," felt most fitting for this piece.
