SYLVAN - Fusion Frames NW Sculpture

Repurposed Antique Frame (mahogany) sourced from Central Oregon Coast antique store, unified with Reclaimed Driftwood Root from the rugged coastline near Otter Rock, Oregon.

Found as neighbors, the frame and root seemed naturally connected. Their original contrasting textures and tones create a quiet sense of balance between the crafted and the weathered.

As Sylvan took form, I began to see an introspective, adaptable, and quietly evolving presence. One that reflects the process of discovering harmony through change and new perspectives. Through the union of contrasting elements, Sylvan reminds me that growth is not always about becoming something different, but about recognizing the balance already within.
